November 1st, 2025
Lexie first met Jake through his sister, Claire, who has become a close friend at Holy Trinity Church. That friendship eventually led to Lexie moving in as a roommate in the charming Wicker Park neighborhood. About a year after Jake and Lexie were introduced—and just a few months after the move—Jake relocated to Wicker Park as well, just a few blocks away. Their paths began to cross more often, until one day, he asked her to take his headshot…
From there, the rest is history. They began dating in September 2023, and on February 1st of this year, he proposed!

We would love our guests to take the opportunity to dress to the nines! Attire requested is black tie optional. For ladies, this means floor-length gowns. For gentlemen, this means either a tuxedo, or full formal suit option. Remember that November in Chicago is typically chilly, and many guests will likely prefer to walk from the church to the reception! There will be a formal coat check at the reception. If you need some fun inspiration or a color palette - check this out!

If you are staying at the Chicago Athletic Association, we recommend using their on-site parking. If you are driving in separately, the closest parking ramps to the church and the reception venue we recommend are the Adams & Wabash Ramp or the 328 S Wabash lot. Both are walking distance to the church and the reception venue! See attached document for easy parking instructions.
